Successful bridge construction progressing in major infrastructure project in Romania. Contractor JV Mapa Group and Cengiz İnşaat Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş is using 2 Form traveler pairs to build VIA-01 viaduct 140m length span over Sibiu – Fagaras road.
Viaduct VIA-01 with 2 parallel box decks is designed with 2.4% longitudinal slope and 4.0% cross fall, as well as 3500m horizontal radius.
Max. Width of the deck is 13.64m and max. bridge span is 140m with max. 5.0m segment lengths weighing up to 195 ton/segment.
